Help! Open defecation is getting worse in Abuesi

The Abuesi Foundation is building a six-unit toilet facility for the Methodist Basic and Junior high school in Abuesi, Shama District. The school has no toilet facility and the pupils often use the beach or the fields around the school to ease themselves. The situation is not conducive, especially for schoolgirls during menstruation.
The construction is at the lintel level and we urgently require financial and material support to complete it.

The completion of the toilet facility will have many benefits including:
the hygienic condition of the school and its environs will be improved
the teaching and learning will be enhanced.
pupils will be focused and regular at school.
academic performance will be improved.
We are appealing to individuals and organisations to support us with funds or building materials to complete the project and hand over the toilet to the school as soon as possible.
